چکیده
The question of energy independence is crucial for many countries in the developed world these days. In addition to solar and wind energy, agriculture plant production are sources renewable energy. Crops can be grown biomass direct combustion, biofuels, bio-ethanol. benefits, lignocellulosic plants have a huge potential wide application industry, construction, paper, automotive, pharmaceutical industries. However, yield products from crops depends on environmental factors, one them their pests. this article, we reviewed selected (Amaranthus spp., Cannabis sativa (L.), Panicum Virgatum L. Sida hermaphrodita (L.) Rusby) most important Summarizing literature discovered that prevalent pests different types insects as well viral fungal pathogens.

Halophytes As Bioenergy Crops
Shrinking arable land due to soil salinization and, depleting fresh water resources pose serious worldwide constraints to crop productivity. A vision of using plant feedstock for biofuel production can only be realized if we can identify alternate species that can be grown on saline soils and therefore, would not compete for the resources required for conventional agriculture. Halophytes have r...
متن کاملImproving Bioenergy Crops through Dynamic Metabolic Modeling
Enormous advances in genetics and metabolic engineering have made it possible, in principle, to create new plants and crops with improved yield through targeted molecular alterations. However, while the potential is beyond doubt, the actual implementation of envisioned new strains is often difficult, due to the diverse and complex nature of plants. Indeed, the intrinsic complexity of plants mak...
متن کاملPerennial Forages as Second Generation Bioenergy Crops
The lignocellulose in forage crops represents a second generation of biomass feedstock for conversion into energy-related end products. Some of the most extensively studied species for cellulosic feedstock production include forages such as switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.), reed canarygrass (Phalaris arundinacea L.), and alfalfa (Medicago sativa L.). An advantage of using forages as bioenergy ...

متن کاملCover crops and control of arthropod pests of agriculture
Cover crops can harbor both harmful and beneficial arthropods (1, 3). Damage to cover crops themselves is rarely of concern; more important is the possibility that pests harbored amid cover crops may disperse to adjoining cash crops [see Kennedy and Margolies (31) for a discussion of the dynamics of such mobile pests]. Here, I explore the roles that cover crops play in the life cycles and popul...
